Why is this course useful?

The course is designed for health and safety managers, managers and supervisors who need to be aware of the dangers when sending staff into areas that are classified as confined spaces, where there may be a risk to lives or serious injuries. The aim of this course will be to provide awareness of the need to provide a safe working environment within a confined space and to make staff, aware of procedures to ensure a safe access and egress from a confined space The course also covers the procedures that need to be in place in the event of an emergency arising whilst staff are working in the confined space.

Health and safety managers, managers and supervisors attending this course will only be issued with an attendance certificate and will not be allowed to enter or work in areas classified as confined spaces, but will be competent to issue permit to work.
